Erinn grew up in Birmingham, AL, and attended the University of Alabama, where she received a degree in psychology and Spanish. She then moved to Spain and worked as a teacher for a few years to build her Spanish skills and experience a new culture. Always hoping to ultimately land in a healthcare career, she returned to the U.S. and pursued graduate training in clinical psychology at Washington State University. While completing her PhD in Eastern Washington, Erinn fell in love with providing care to rural communities. She specialized in working with children and adolescents, including those with neurodevelopmental disorders (ADHD, ASD) and special healthcare needs, and gained extensive experience in neuropsychological assessment. Erinn also completed cross-cultural research on early child development and served as the co-chair of WSU’s diversity committee. After gaining various clinical experiences, Erinn’s time in integrated primary care family medicine stood out as a setting in which she felt most fulfilled and aligned with her values. She has gained further experience in primary care during her internship at Duke University Medical Center, and is excited to continue her integrated care journey as a postdoctoral resident at CVCH. Erinn is also eager to return to the Pacific Northwest and enjoy the beautiful nature, hiking opportunities, and down to earth lifestyle.

Hobbies: (What I do for fun) I love spending time outdoors going on hikes, bike rides, or walks around the neighborhood with my dog, partner, and friends and family. I also like to travel, try out new restaurants and coffee shops, watch TV series and sports (especially college football- Roll Tide), and listen to podcasts.

Why did you choose to do your internship at CVCH? I chose CVCH because the mission aligns with my goals and values: to provide integrated behavioral health care to all who need it. I also love the Pacific Northwest and am excited to return to the area and serve my community.
