Protection from and prevention of infectious diseases
Preventative care for all patients is an important part of our work at Columbia Valley Community Health. One of the best preventative protections from infectious disease is immunizations.
CVCH has a history of evaluating the need for and administering immunizations extremely well. All standard immunizations are available where medical services are provided. The primary care staff evaluates vaccine needs by using state registries and gathering information from our patients to assure full coverage.
Early childhood vaccines are provided to the Clinic at no charge by the Department of Health. CVCH charges a minimal administration fee for these vaccines. Adult vaccines are available at cost. Most insurance companies cover the cost of the vaccine and administration fees.
