Whether you are planning a pregnancy, currently pregnant, preparing for birth, or seeking women’s health services, our team is here to provide personalized, respectful, and supportive care.

Our maternity services are designed to support your health and well-being at every stage. We are a team of Certified Nurse-Midwives and Family Medicine-OB physicians. From preconception counseling and routine prenatal care to labor, birth, postpartum support, lactation care, and family planning, our providers are committed to helping you have a safe, positive, and empowering experience.

What is a Family Medicine-OB Provider?

A Family Medicine-OB provider, also known as an FM-OB, is a medical doctor who specializes in family medicine and has additional training and experience in pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum care.

FM-OB providers care for patients throughout pregnancy and delivery while also offering ongoing primary care before and after birth. One of the unique benefits of seeing an FM-OB provider is that they may continue caring for you after delivery and may also provide care for your baby and other members of your family.

This approach allows patients to build a long-term relationship with a provider who understands their overall health, pregnancy journey, and family’s care needs.

What is a Certified Nurse Midwife?

A Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) is a nurse practitioner with specialized training in care during pregnancy, birth and throughout the reproductive lifespan.

CNMs provide holistic healthcare from adolescence through menopause. In addition to caring for patients during pregnancy and postpartum, CNMs also offer women’s health services, including gynecological exams, cervical cancer screening, birth control and family planning, breastfeeding support, and perimenopause care.

Where Will I Have My Baby?

Patients receiving care from our Wenatchee or East Wenatchee Maternity team will give birth at Confluence Health Central Campus, previously known as Central Washington Hospital. Patients receiving care from our Chelan Maternity team will give birth at Lake Chelan Hospital.

Regardless of where you choose to receive care, our team will support you and your family with compassion and respect.
