Daniel's short-term goal is complete clinical hours to go from SUDPT to SUDP. Daniel’s long-term goal is to get a masters in mental health counseling.

 

Biography:

Daniel Tapia, SUDPT, is an addiction counselor trainee that just graduated from EWU with a bachelors in addiction studies. Daniel is a freelance florist that is very passionate about floral design. Daniel decided to become an addiction counselor after his own experience with the therapy. He is excited to further his education and studies with a focus on substance use and its effects on minority communities. 

 

Hometown: Moses Lake, WA

Daniel loves to spend time with his family. He enjoys reading books and playing with floral design. Daniel inspires to expand his knowledge in the art of floral design. His goal is to grow his business to eventually own an event center which will allow him to further his floral design skills. 

 

What attracted you to CVCH:

After Daniel explored New Paths website, it was clear to him to apply. Daniel says New Path is passionate about providing resources to help members recover from substance use disorders.
