Seth TeGrotenhuis, LMFTA, is a marriage and family therapist who grew up in Kennewick WA, and he is currently learning Spanish. He has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Whitworth University in Spokane, WA, as well as a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy, also from Whitworth. He enjoys working with people from many different walks of life and has an interest in therapy for anxiety and depression, utilizing solution-focused techniques and mindfulness-based interventions. He also has an interest in helping clients address the different areas of life that affect their mental and emotional wellness, such as their family life, work life, and social life. He believes that with the right support, everyone has the capacity to grow and change, and to improve their mental, emotional, and behavioral health.

Hobbies: (“What I do for fun”) I have played musical instruments my whole life and enjoy writing and recording music as a hobby. I also enjoy hiking, cooking, and spending time with friends and loved ones.
What attracted you to CVCH? I was drawn to CVCH by the values that they hold, and I feel that those values align with my own. Like CVCH, I also believe in having compassion and respect for my clients in an integrated approach to healthcare, and in reducing or eliminating the barriers to healthcare that so many people face.
