Hessine Gayle, ARNP, is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She was once a school teacher and registered nurse and understands the challenges children and adults face in society. She attended Grand Canyon University where she obtained a bachelor in Nursing. While working at Dade Correctional Institution in the mental health department she received a Master’s Degree in Nursing from Maryville University. She did her internship at the Community Health of South Florida, originally on track to become a professor in the field of Mental Health. Gayle is an active Florida Nurse Practitioner and American Nurses Association member. She is a native of Jamaica who moved to South Florida to pursue a career in Psychiatry and give back to society. She enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren.
