Biography:

 

Rachel Bollens, CNM is a certified nurse-midwife originally from Seattle, Washington. Her work within women’s health began as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Belize, continued with training and work as an obstetric nurse in Baltimore, Maryland, and for the last few years has been closer to home in western Washington. She is passionate about informed consent, evidence-based care, reproductive justice and increasing access. She is excited to be a part of the Wenatchee Valley community and to provide high-quality and compassionate care to all.

Hobbies:

Most of all I enjoy spending time with loved ones. It is a plus if we can be outside - walking, riding bikes or going for a hike. I love cooking (especially beans!), reading and occasionally playing with print-making and pottery. 

 

What attracted you to CVCH? 

The mission of CVCH in particular, and FQHCs in general, resonates with me and why I do this work. I am thrilled to be joining an organization with long-standing roots in the community and an explicit commitment to service and access.
