Name of Medical School: Michigan State University
Nick was raised in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, in a town called Escanaba. He moved only an hour away to get his Biology w/emphasis in Physiology degree and minor in Chemistry at Northern Michigan University. He started his medical career working as a Care Aide at the local hospital. He became aware of each individual role and gained an early understanding of how to care for patients and their families as a team. From here, he went on to medical school at Michigan State University and was a part of their Rural Physician Program, spending two more years in the U.P. learning the ins and outs of rural medicine. He is excited to be joining CVCH to continue his commitment in serving rural areas and providing full spectrum healthcare.
