Natalie Eggers is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and Child Mental Health Specialist (CMHS) who practices at our Children’s Behavioral Health site in Chelan, and at our Adult Behavioral Health location in East Wenatchee. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Washington in psychology. Natalie then took the opportunity to explore her interest in research, as the manager of the Early Childhood Cognition Lab at the University of Washington. There, she led a team of cutting-edge professionals, studying cognitive development during infancy. As a graduate student at Seattle Pacific University, she spent her clinical internship working with children and families at Compass Health in Monroe, WA. She was recognized for her academic achievement in exploring the special relationship between mental health and medicine in rural practice, as she received the Guernsey Award from SPU's School of Psychology, Family & Community. She went on to open a private practice in Seattle and Bellevue, working with children, teens and adult women. When working with families, Natalie seeks to have a holistic approach, integrating one's biology, psychology, sociology & spirituality into treatment.
What attracted you to CVCH?
I could tell that CVCH truly cared about providing the highest quality of care to their clients and patients. From that foundation, I saw a group of exceptional counselors and staff who value mutual respect and embrace differences, encourage one another and seek to grow and mature professionally. I know this is a group who I can learn a lot from in the coming years.
