Undergrad: BA in Visual Communications Design with a minor in Classical Studies - University of Washington

Graduate: Master on Social Work, Specializing in Clinical Social Work and Administration and Policy Practice 

Micah Vacatio, MSW, LICSW (they/them) is a behavioral medicine consultant, and training faculty member at the Wenatchee Clinic location. Micah earned their Bachelor of Arts in Visual Communication Design with a minor in Classical Studies from the University of Washington, Seattle campus. After many years working in tech and e-commerce, they decided they wanted to serve the community and returned to the UW to earn their Master of Social Work, specializing in Clinical Social Work and Administration and Policy Practice. 

Micah works with children, adolescents, adults, and families who are looking to explore who they are and how they can make sense of the world around them. Their therapeutic approach is rooted in curiosity, client-centeredness, and a strengths-based perspective. As a collaborative and engaged therapist, Micah strives to create an inclusive space for all individuals. They prioritize continuous learning and reflection to enhance their practice, demonstrating a commitment to humility and the lifelong process of unlearning and learning.

Reflecting on all the countries they dream of visiting, watching documentaries on obscure topics, attempting to read five books at once, sailing on the Salish Sea, and sitting on the balcony with my family, observing the birds, bats, clouds, and stars.
