Biography:
Peter Tissell, Psy.D. is a therapist associate currently working towards licensure as a psychologist in Washington. He was born and raised in Seattle, WA. Peter Tissell moved to Oregon to complete his undergraduate and graduate schooling at George Fox University, where he earned a doctorate in clinical psychology. Professionally, he was worked largely with children and adolescents, providing both therapeutic and assessment services. Peter Tissell has worked in numerous treatment settings, including schools, hospitals, and correctional facilities. Most recently, Peter Tissell was living in Austin, TX, working with youth involved in the juvenile justice system. Peter Tissell is passionate about providing mental health treatment to youth and their families. He is especially interested in addressing mood disorders, behavioral issues, and suicide prevention. Now living in the Wenatchee Valley, Peter Tissell is excited to join the CVCH team and continue serving youth and families across the North Central Cascades.

During my free time, I enjoy being outside with my two dogs. We enjoy hiking, going to the park, and being out on the water. I am also a big Seattle sports fan, so I am always happy to talk about how the Mariners, Sounders, Kraken, and Seahawks are playing.
What attracted you to CVCH?
I chose to join the team at CVCH because I believe in providing convenient and effective mental health services for everyone. CVCH does an excellent job of meeting community members in their moment of need and ensuring each patient has support on their health journey.
