Biography:
Cynthia Martinez-Morales, LSWAIC is a bilingual Mental Health Therapist who practices at our Children’s Behavioral Health location. She is originally from Michoacan, Mexico and has lived in Wenatchee for most of her life. She was able to complete her graduate degree through Western New Mexico University online allowing her to continue growing her skills through hands on experience in the field. Cynthia has a history of working with individuals who suffer from depression, anxiety and psychosis. Through her previous employment at an inpatient psychiatric facility in the area, she was able to grow her de-escalation skills in crisis situations and working with individuals that were involuntarily detained. Learning that the skills learned she could utilize in different population to serve her clients to the best of her ability. This allowing her to work with interdisciplinary teams gaining the proper skills and comprehending the importance of providing holistic care. Through her learned experience, her interest for behavioral health continued to grow and led her to seeking employment through CVCH. Her goal is to continue to provide services to the immigrant community in a language that they can effectively communicate allowing rapport to be established. Her dedication to serving our underserved population has continued to motivate her through her learned experiences and seeing firsthand the need for bilingual providers in our area. Cynthia is motivated and determined in advocating for her clients, ensuring that through therapy they can find the best version of themselves and gain the confidence that they need with the proper coping skills to overcome any obstacle they may encounter.

My hobbies include crocheting, coloring, watching movies of any genre, working out and spending time with my family.
What attracted you to CVCH?
I have been able to see the commitment that CVCH has towards serving out immigrant population in our area. I connected with the CVCH mission and knew that within this organization I too could make a difference in my client’s life, providing them with the services that they are seeking in an effective manner and in a language that they can fully understand. It is a pleasure to be a part of CVCH team.
