Update on Information Access

At CVCH, we are committed to providing access to barrier-free healthcare for all. We believe in information access and transparency, and we want you to be able to easily review your electronic personal health information.

In October of 2022, we improved our information sharing practices. This means that visit notes, or lab results will be automatically shared in our secure and convenient Patient Portal (athenahealth).

What This Means for You

  • There is no action needed on your part. You do not need to do anything differently.
  • In some cases, lab results may become available to you before your care team has reviewed them. We will still review every result and will contact you with any concerns. However, if you have an urgent concern, you can send us a message through the Patient Portal or call our clinic to discuss.
  • If you do not have a Patient Portal account yet, we can help you get set up or you can set up your account here. This service is completely free to you.
