New Faces at Columbia Valley Community Health

Growing Health Clinic Hires a new Recruiter and Patient Access Manager

Wednesday, September 16, 2015: Wenatchee, WA:  Columbia Valley Community Health (CVCH) announces new additions to its administrative and operations teams: Lisa Schiefelbein, HR Recruiter, and Ruben Betancourt, Patient Access Manager.

New Faces at Columbia Valley Community HealthLisa Schiefelbein is from Federal Way, WA and received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies, with a minor in Health Science, from Eastern Washington University. Before joining the Human Resources department at CVCH, Schiefelbein was a provider recruiter for Rockwood Clinic, based out of Spokane with multiple locations in eastern Washington.

Schiefelbein, who will become Mrs. Lisa Humphrey later this month, says she is excited to be a part of an organization that is driven by its mission and core values. “As a recruiter I am passionate about identifying the best talent and feel that it’s a privilege to be the person who often makes the initial contact with applicants.”

New Faces at Columbia Valley Community HealthBorn and raised in Wenatchee, Ruben Betancourt is the new CVCH Patient Access Manager, responsible for front office operations including scheduling and patient access. Ruben finished his undergrad at Pacific Union College and continued his education at the University of Phoenix where he received his Master’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Healthcare Management.  Betancourt also has a certification in Spanish, speech and written, from La Universidad Adventista del Plata in Argentina, where he spent a year taking classes. Before coming to CVCH, Betancourt was the projects coordinator for the Alumni and Advancement Office at Pacific Union College.

Of his decision to return to Wenatchee and work for CVCH, Betancourt says, “I wanted to be part of the amazing commitment to patient and family oriented care each employee at CVCH embodies.”
