Columbia Valley Community Health will host a benefit enrollment open house in Chelan on Saturday, November 16 from 8am – 6pm. This one-day enrollment event will be held at the CVCH Chelan Clinic located at 317 E. Johnson Street. This community service is free and open to anyone who needs assistance enrolling in the state healthcare exchange known as the Washington HealthPlanFinder.
Trained in-person assistors from CVCH will help individuals through the enrollment process. This assistance will be available on a walk-in basis. Individuals enrolling are required to bring the following information:
- Identification Documentation: ID Card, Green Card, Naturalization Certificate or US Passport (which ever applies)
- 2012 Tax Return
- Social Security Cards for everyone applying
- Dates of Birth for everyone included on 2012 taxes
If any of this information is missing, individuals will not be able to complete the enrollment process. The Washington healthcare exchange is an online marketplace and users will need to provide an email address. If individuals do not have an email address, the in-person assistors will create an account with them. Having an email address will speed up the process, which takes about 45 – 60 minutes per individual.
