On Saturday, August 10, families and community resources gathered in the parking lot of Columbia Valley Community Health in Wenatchee for the 4th Annual Back to School Health Fair. CVCH and its partners had filled 1,000 backpacks with school supplies for this annual event that kicks off National Health Center Week. All 1,000 backpacks were disseminated to school-aged children.

CVCH departments and community organizations visited with attendees, gave information on their resources and services, played games and gave prizes during the three-hour event. The Pediatrics booth had a kiddie pool with water toys, a mister, jump rope and freeze pops. There were face-painting stations, a photo booth, a happy-hair booth, a misting tent, hydration stations with water and apple slices and close to 20 booths and community organizations.
