Biography:

Maricela “Marcy”, SUDPT, is an Addiction Counselor Trainee fluent in English and Spanish.  Marcy was born in Guanajuato, Mexico and came to the United States as a small child. Her family settled in the Wenatchee Valley in the early 90’s. She graduated from Eastmont High School and obtained her AA through Wenatchee Valley College as a member of the WVC CAMP (College Assistance Migrant Program). She is currently enrolled at Eastern Washington University pursuing her B.A. in Addiction Studies, graduating Spring of 2025. She has served our community through CVCH for the past 10 years “I have been fortunate to serve our community through various roles at CVCH, patient services, medical, behavioral health, and our migrant community as well as unhoused population through community outreach”. Marcy’s mission is to help educate, empower and provide trauma-informed care to our community members to better understand the disease of alcohol and other drugs and advocate for marginalized communities. 

 

Hometown: Wenatchee, WA  

 

Hobbies: 

My hobbies include cooking, weightlifting, reading, spending time with my kids and fiancé, and summer BBQs with family and friends. 

 

What attracted you to CVCH?

My values and beliefs align with CVCH and their mission, as an immigrant and child of migrant workers CVCH has always made me feel welcomed, I feel privileged to serve and give back to my community.
