CVCH CEO ANNOUNCES RETIREMENT

Wenatchee, Wash., December, 8 2021– David Olson, CEO of Columbia Valley Community Health, has announced his retirement, effective January 31, 2022.

Olson joined CVCH as its CEO in June 2016. During his tenure CVCH has grown significantly in both the number of providers and the number of patients served, expanded services in the Chelan Valley, established the New Path substance use disorder program, instituted mobile services through Connect, and significantly expanded community outreach. CVCH Board Chair Kristina Stepper said, “I want to express appreciation to David, on behalf of the entire Board, for his dedication to and investment in CVCH for the past five+ years. David’s passion for community involvement and community outreach have helped position CVCH for a bright future. We wish him well.”

Olson expressed his appreciation to the CVCH board for allowing him the privilege to serve as CEO. “I am proud of my work at CVCH over the last five years,” said Olson. “I am proud of what we’ve accomplished as a team on behalf of our patients and the communities we serve. We have an incredible team of providers and staff and I wish them all the best as they continue the work that they do so well.”

Manuel Navarro, CVCH Chief Operating Officer, will serve as interim CEO after Olson’s departure.
