Emily Zambrano-Andrews, DNP, ARNP, CNM, IBCLC, a Certified Nurse Midwife and International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant has joined the CVCH maternity team at the 600 Orondo Avenue clinic. Emily is driven by a strong commitment to providing holistic and individualized care, a philosophy cultivated through her extensive work as a community midwife and experience working with immigrant and underserved populations. Her experiences living and traveling in developing countries have further enriched her understanding and ability to connect with diverse populations, particularly immigrants and those in underserved communities. Her special areas of interest encompass pregnancy, lactation, and peri/post menopause. This dedication directly aligns with CVCH mission to provide access to improved health and wellness with compassion and respect for all. With a Master of Science in Nursing (2016) and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (2018) from Frontier Nursing University, Emily brings expertise in managing care throughout the reproductive lifespan. She is passionate about improving access to care, advocating for health equity, and empowering individuals to be active partners in their healthcare decisions. Emily is an English speaker who is also learning Spanish to further connect with her patients. Emily, previously residing in the Midwest, has now settled in the Wenatchee area. When not caring for her patients, Emily enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and exploring the outdoors.
