Wendy specializes in attachment, trauma, healing, and connection. Her focus includes working with anxiety, depression, neurodivergent individuals (ASD, ADHD, PDA), trauma, loss/grief, and social skills development. 

 

Biography:

Wendy is dedicated to working with individuals, families, and groups to help them find awareness and healing. She leverages the transformative power of talk, art, and play therapies, believing everyone possesses the innate ability to achieve healing and wellness. Wendy's approach is client-centered, strengths-based, trauma informed and holistic. She employs a curious and empathetic perspective, utilizing Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT, CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy (NT), and Play Therapy, among other modalities. Wendy emphasizes meaning making and storytelling as tools for clients to increase self-awareness and empowerment. By fostering relational skills, healthy boundary setting, and encouraging a growth mindset, Wendy helps clients find healing, purpose, and connection.

Hobbies: 

In her leisure time, Wendy enjoys all things outdoors, which includes hiking, biking, climbing, backpacking, skiing, and gardening. She cherishes moments with friends and family, and her greatest passion is connecting with people and appreciating the wonderfulness in each individual.
