Biography:
Vivian Lockett, is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a foundation in Christian principles. She speaks English and currently learning Spanish with the hopes of becoming fluent in the future. Vivian grew up in Long Island, NY and appreciates diverse cultures. Vivian later moved to Florida and graduated with her Degree in Nursing in 2009 which allowed her to work in Medical Surgical, Long-Term Care, Manage Care, Leadership, and Psychiatry. Vivian went on to pursue her Master’s in Leadership & Administration, and graduated from Capella University, she then pursued her post Master’s as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, and graduated from Herzing University. Vivian has worked in psychiatry since 2019, and worked with vulnerable populations to include children, the elderly, and woman within the Prison system who were dealing with various mental health disorders. Vivian’s clinical interests include creating an individualized personal plan, based on medical history, symptoms, and preferences, using a client-centered approach that combines non-medication techniques in connection with medications to help manage symptoms. Vivian recently moved to Washington, she is excited to be a part of the greater Wenatchee community, and look forward to providing quality care to people of all ages and backgrounds. Vivian is an active member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, and she enjoys, working out, music, animals and spending quality time with family and/or friends.
