Undergrad: Leslie received a diploma in practical nursing in 1994 from Louisiana Delta Community College in West Monroe, Louisiana. She received an Associate Degree in Nursing from Excelsior University in 2009.
Name of Graduate School: Leslie graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Master of Science in Nursing degree in the psychiatric nurse practitioner program in 2019.

My professional interest includes providing education about mental health, mental health disorders, and treatment options to assist individuals in making informed and shared decisions. I specialize in psychiatric diagnostic assessment and psychiatric medication management for patients of all ages.

Leslie M Hite, ARNP, is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner who speaks English and is learning Spanish. Leslie has worked in the nursing field since 1994 in various healthcare settings and has had a passion for working in mental healthcare since 2008. She graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2019 and moved to Okanogan County, Washington, working with all ages in treatment of mental health in primary care and community behavioral healthcare settings. She recently moved to the Wenatchee area to be a member of the CVCH team. Leslie enjoys working with all ages and has a special interest in providing education to individuals to assist in making shared decisions about mental health medication. Leslie is looking forward to exploring more of the Wenatchee area. She enjoys observing nature through hiking or walking on trails and loves to learn about different cultures and food.

Leslie enjoys traveling to different areas of the country and the world to explore and learning about different cultures and try different food. She enjoys hiking and kayaking and spending time in nature with a love for the environment and wildlife.
What attracted you to CVCH?
I was attracted to CVCH because of the area and mission of CVCH. I want to practice within a team of people who love what they do and continue to strive to deliver the best care they can.
