Biography:
Emily Snider is a Licensed Associate Clinical Social Worker. She received her Bachelor of Social Work from Brandman University and was awarded her Master of Social Work from Boise State University. Prior to obtaining her master’s degree, Emily worked at Women’s Resource Center as a case manager for 5 years, supporting and guiding clients through major life changes. She also managed a transitional housing program for families experiencing homelessness. Through these experiences, she has cultivated a trauma-informed perspective and a strengths based approach to the process of therapy. Emily’s clinical interests include Solution Focused Brief Therapy, mindfulness practices, anxiety, and substance use disorder. Emily’s education and experience has equipped her to help patients resolve inner conflict, utilize community resources and find wellness. In her free time, Emily enjoys spending time with her family and her animals, and taking vacations to the Oregon coast. Emily is excited to begin serving patients at CVCH.

Emily is passionate about animals and animal welfare, and volunteers at her local shelter in Quincy. She has many animals at home including cats, dogs, chickens and goats. She enjoys vacationing at the Oregon coast with her husband and kids, and hiking in the PNW.

CVCH provides wrap around care for all patients. I was excited to be part of a team that treats the whole person physically and emotionally to ensure holistic care. I am passionate about CVCH’s ambition to increase access to mental healthcare for all.
