Samantha Martinez, CNM, DNP, ARNP

Biogrophy:

Samantha is a Certified Nurse-Midwife joining the Maternity team in Wenatchee. She grew up in the Wenatchee Valley and discovered her passion for caring for women early in her nursing career as a Labor and Delivery nurse. During her ten years as an RN in both the Labor & Delivery and Emergency Departments, she saw the profound impact providers can have on their patients. Her passion for women’s health grew as she witnessed first-hand how women need providers who would listen to them, empower them, and advocate for them. Samantha moved with her family to Texas to complete her Doctorate in Nursing Practice in Nurse-Midwifery from Baylor University, and worked at a bustling full-scope midwifery practice in Dallas for 2.5 years before making the decision to move back home. She is passionate about women’s health, maternity care, shared decision-making, and loves the midwifery model of care.

She loves getting to know women and their families throughout their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey. For her hobbies, Samantha loves to spend time with her family, especially outdoors hiking or swimming.
