At CVCH Behaviroral Health, we offer group sessions to create a community individuals looking to educate themselves and heal together. Group sessions are offered at all three of our CVCH locations. Please contact your CVCH Behvioral Health provider to check availablity and request a referal.
Current Behavioral Health Support Groups
Emotional Regulation Group
- Ages 18+
- Day: Wednesday
- Time: 3:00-5:00
- Group Description: A therapeutic group for adults that involves psychoeducation and skill-building relating to emotional regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness & mindfulness. This group differs from a process group and focuses on learning ways to reduce unhealthy behaviors and developing more productive ways to manage emotions.
Intro to CBT-I (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia)
- Ages 18+
- Day: Wednesdays
- Time: 4:00-5:00
- Group Description: This group provides an introduction to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia, which is considered to be the gold-standard, evidence-based treatment for persistent insomnia without medication. This 6-week CBT-I program teaches practical, strategies to help reset sleep patterns, calm nighttime anxiety, and build sustainable sleep habits
Advanced Intuitive Eating
- Ages 18+
- Day: Thursday
- Time: 2:00-3:30
- Group Description: This is a continuation of the current Advanced Intuitive Eating group-- we will be continuing at a monthly frequency on the 4th Thursday of every month, same time, 2-3:30p.
Level Up: Therapeutic Tabletop RPG Group
- Ages 12-16
- Day: Thursday
- Time: 3:00-4:30
- Group Description:
Seeking Safety
- Ages 18+
- Day: Wednesday
- Time: 4:00-5:00
- Group Description: It's a group focused on enhancing feelings of safety to enhance adaptive coping skills among individuals with trauma and/or substance use.

Little Chefs
- Ages 14-18
- Day: Mondays
- Time: 4:00-5:00
- Group Description: This is a course for teens to learn to prepare simple, healthy and affordable meals. We will learn and practice safe food handling and preparation skills, gain an understanding of how nutritious food can support our mental health and have fun in the process!
Kids Therapeutic Art Groups
- Ages 6-8
- Day: Wednesday
- Time: 3:30-4:30

Behavioral Health Groups Are A Billable Service
Group sessions are a billable service through your insurance and may include a copay or
Financial Resourcesother out of pocket expense. Prior to the first group meeting, we will have a Member
Services Representative available to assist with the completion of the Sliding Fee
Application, as not all insurances cover the total cost of group. Once you have applied and
are eligible for the discount, the cost for the group could be as low as $15
