Behavioral Health Groups

Group Sessions to build a community wanting to learn and heal.

At CVCH Behaviroral Health, we offer group sessions to create a community individuals looking to educate themselves and heal together. Group sessions are offered at all three of our CVCH locations. Please contact your CVCH Behvioral Health provider to check availablity and request a referal.

Current Behavioral Health Support Groups

Adult Assertiveness Training Group

  • Ages 18+
  • Day: Tuesdays
  • Time: 1:00 - 3:00
  • Group Description: Learn what is assertiveness, how to think and behave more assertively, reduce physical tension associated with anxiety, say “no,” handle criticism and disappointment, and how to give and receive compliments assertively

Emotional Regulation Group

  • Ages 18+
  • Day: Tuesdays
  • Time: 3:00-5:00
  • Group Description: A therapeutic group for adults that involves psychoeducation and skill-building relating to emotional regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness & mindfulness. This group differs from a process group and focuses on learning ways to reduce unhealthy behaviors and developing more productive ways to manage emotions.

Art and Mindfulness

  • Ages 18+
  • Day: Wednesdays
  • Time: 1:30-3:00
  • Group Description: This group providers a supportive space for clients to explore creativity as a tool for emotional expression and stress reduction. Participants will learn how to use art as a healthy coping strategy while practiving mindfulness techniques.

Women's Self Esteem Group

  • Ages 18+
  • Day: Mondays
  • Time: 1:30-3:00
  • Group Description: Join our Women’s Self-Esteem Group, a supportive space designed to help participants release self-doubt, build self-compassion, and embrace who they are. The group meets on Mondays from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM, from April 6th through June 1st, at CVCH Adult Behavioral Health on the 2nd floor at 980 Eastmont Ave, East Wenatchee, WA. Sessions are facilitated by Rhonda Breckenridge, LICSW.

Grief Recovery Method Group

  • Ages 18+
  • Facilitator: Barbra Brink
  • Day: Fridays
  • Time: 3:30-4:30
  • Group Description: Our 8-week Grief Recovery Method Support Group offer a safe, evidence-based environment for grievers to take effective and lasting action, no matter the type of loss experienced.

Social Skills Group

  • Ages 9-12
  • Day: Biweekly on Fridays
  • Time: 3:30-4:30
  • Group Description: This elementary school social skills group is designed for ages 9–12 and is offered through CVCH Children’s Behavioral Health. It meets every other Friday from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 980 Eastmont Ave., and focuses on empathy, healthy friendships, boundaries, and resolving conflict, with sessions facilitated by Hayley Mooney, LMHCA.

Self-Compassion Group

  • Ages 18+
  • Day: Wednesdays
  • Time: 3:30-5:00
  • Group Description: A supportive psychoeducational group focused on reducing self-criticism and building emotional resilience. Participants will learn practical mindfulness and self-compassion tools to manage anxiety, shame, perfectionism, and burnout while developing a kinder, more balanced relationship with themselves.

Behavioral Health Groups Are A Billable Service

Group sessions are a billable service through your insurance and may include a copay or
other out of pocket expense. Prior to the first group meeting, we will have a Member
Services Representative available to assist with the completion of the Sliding Fee
Application, as not all insurances cover the total cost of group. Once you have applied and
are eligible for the discount, the cost for the group could be as low as $15
