Biography:

Richard Bryant is a Substance Use Disorder Professional Trainee with a strong commitment to helping individuals and families impacted by addiction. He brings both professional training and lived experience into his work, allowing him to connect with clients in a meaningful and authentic way while maintaining clear clinical boundaries. Richard is passionate about supporting individuals in building sustainable recovery and improving overall quality of life.

His areas of interest include working with individuals experiencing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions, with a focus on relapse prevention, motivation for change, and long-term recovery support. Richard values a whole-person approach to care that considers the biological, psychological, social, and spiritual aspects of each individual’s experience.

 

Hobbies: (“What I do for fun”)

Richard enjoys spending time with his family, working out, being outdoors, and participating in activities on the water. He also values personal growth and staying active in his recovery community.

 

What attracted you to CVCH:

Richard was drawn to CVCH New Path not only because of its strong reputation for providing compassionate, client-centered care, but also through his own positive experiences as a client within New Path, as well as with CVCH’s behavioral health and dental services. These experiences had a meaningful impact on his life and played a significant role in guiding him toward a career in the behavioral health field. He values CVCH’s commitment to whole-person care and is motivated to give back to the same community and organization that supported him in his own journey.

Education: Richard Bryant is currently completing the Addiction Studies Program at Wenatchee Valley College, WA
