Richard Bryant is a Substance Use Disorder Professional Trainee with a strong commitment to helping individuals and families impacted by addiction. He brings both professional training and lived experience into his work, allowing him to connect with clients in a meaningful and authentic way while maintaining clear clinical boundaries. Richard is passionate about supporting individuals in building sustainable recovery and improving overall quality of life.
His areas of interest include working with individuals experiencing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions, with a focus on relapse prevention, motivation for change, and long-term recovery support. Richard values a whole-person approach to care that considers the biological, psychological, social, and spiritual aspects of each individual’s experience.

Richard enjoys spending time with his family, working out, being outdoors, and participating in activities on the water. He also values personal growth and staying active in his recovery community.

These experiences had a meaningful impact on his life and played a significant role in guiding him toward a career in the behavioral health field. He values CVCH’s commitment to whole-person care and is motivated to give back to the same community and organization that supported him in his own journey.
