Simon Mendoza, PA-C, is a bilingual primary care physician assistant who grew up in the Columbia Basin as a child of migrant farmworkers. His goal is to provide culturally sensitive and compassionate patient-centered medical care that is respectful and responsive to individual patient preferences, needs, and values. Simon received both his undergraduate degree in Microbiology and Master’s degree in clinical health services from the University of Washington. In addition to his interest in underserved medicine, he has special interests in infectious disease, dermatology, adolescent health, and mental health. In his free time, Simon enjoys hiking, camping, traveling, and volunteering. He looks forward to serving the community for many years to come.

What attracted you to CVCH?
As a new graduate physician assistant, I knew I wanted to practice family medicine at a community health center where I could use my background and Spanish to deliver high quality care to the community. What made CVCH unique among other community health centers was the mentorship and camaraderie among medical providers.
