Kimberly “Kim” Voss is a Substance Use Disorder Professional with 18 years’ experience in the field of Substance Use Disorders. Grew up in the Wenatchee received her Associate of Technical Science degree emphasizing in chemical studies graduating in 1999. Kim started her internship working at Skagit Recovery Center as a Detox Tech for the 1st year of her training. Kim had a passion for working with those who were involved in the criminal justice system. She completed her internship working with offenders who participated in the Drug Offenders Sentencing Alternative Program (DOSA) while working at the Washington State Reformatory in Monroe. Kim is certified in Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT.) MRT is a cognitive behavioral based program that teaches individuals coping skills and making choices to prevent them from returning into the criminal justice system. Kim’s experience is working with drug court programs providing drug and alcohol treatment, pregnant and parenting women participating in medical assisted treatment, outreach counselor for Skagit Valley Hospital and Washington State Department of Corrections treatment program. Kim had the privilege of working in the tribal community in Omak and Nespelem area learning how substance use has impacted their community and providing SUD services. Kim’s special interest is working with patients who are impacted by Substance Use Disorders and Trauma and learning more about diverse populations.
