Dr. Dominika Breedlove is a licensed clinical psychologist, who at CVCH serves a dual role as a Behavioral Medicine Consultant and Director of Training for two formal training programs, the Doctoral Internship and Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Health Service Psychology. Dr. Breedlove is a past President of the Washington State Psychology Association (WSPA, 2019) and continues to serve as a Board Trustee for WSPA since 2017. As a provider, Dr. Breedlove specializes in working with patients who have histories of psychological trauma, anxiety disorders, substance use disorders, and chronic mental and medical health conditions. Dr. Breedlove is certified in clinical hypnosis by the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis (ASCH) and is a graduate of the Certificate Program in Chronic Pain Management at McGill University. She is passionate about integrative healthcare and advocating for her patients' needs in the community-based healthcare setting that focuses on underserved populations. She believes that the optimal healthcare experience attends to the whole person and involves care for one's physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs. In her approach to psychotherapy, she strives to make her patients feel safe and secure in order to foster an environment conducive to healing and personal growth. In her spare time, she enjoys running, yoga and meditation, reading, and spending time with her family, including her pets and farm animals.
