Samantha Baker, Psy.D., is a Behavioral Medicine Consultant who was raised in the Wenatchee Valley. She earned her doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Alliant International University in San Diego, before moving to Colorado, where she completed her pre-doctoral internship with the Colorado Department of Corrections. Following completion of her doctoral degree, she participated in post-doctoral training at the Center for Forensic Psychiatry, in Michigan where she became certified as a forensic evaluator.
As a provider, Dr. Baker specializes in diagnosis, and treatment of serious mental illness and substance use disorders. In addition to specialized training in forensics and legal psychology, she has experience working with adults and teens in both outpatient and inpatient settings where her clinical interests have included, community-based treatment, psychological assessment, risk management, and crisis intervention. Dr. Baker hopes to integrate her diverse training and passion for social justice to advocate for the needs of the community, specifically, those in underserved populations.
