Melissa Reilly, LMHC, Postdoctoral Fellow
Melissa Reilly, LMHC, is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. She grew up in Southern California where she received her Addiction’s Certification from Oxnard College in 2005. She has also received an undergraduate degree from Antioch University Los Angeles in 2009, and a Master’s degree in Psychology from Pepperdine University in 2012.
Melissa Reilly, LMHC is a Behavioral Medicine Post-Doctoral Fellow. She grew up in Southern California where she received her Addiction’s Counseling Certification from Oxnard College in 2005. She has also received a Bachelor’s degree from Antioch University, Los Angeles in 2009, a Master’s degree in Psychology from Pepperdine University, Malibu in 2012, and a Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology with advanced training in Family Forensic Psychology from Antioch University, Santa Barbara in 2018. She started her career working in addiction and eating disorder treatment both clinically and administratively. After making the decision to refocus solely on providing clinical service she worked in providing behavioral therapy for children, adolescents, and adults as well as their families. Additionally, Melissa has also worked as an advocate for patients within managed care facilities and spent some time conducting psychological evaluations for the Department of Rehabilitation. Moreover, she has worked clinically with homeless populations as well as facilitating both individual and group therapy for individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. During Melissa’s free time she enjoys spending time exploring outdoors with her two adventurous boys, reading, and playing multiple musical instruments.
