I am a licensed mental health counselor currently working as a Behavioral Medicine Post-Doctoral Fellow at Columbia Valley Community Health. I am a Boston native, and I knew I had to move across the country to be a part of CVCH when I saw their mission to increase access and provide whole person care for all. I earned my Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology and Global Mental Health with a Concentration in Latino Mental Health, from William James College (Formerly the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology) in collaboration with Harvard Medical School’s Program of Refugee Trauma. I recently earned my Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology and Latino Mental Health at William James College. I have experience working with refugees, immigrants, and domestic and international human trafficking, in the United States, Costa Rica, Ecuador, and Haiti. In addition to English, I speak Spanish, French, Portuguese, and Haitian Creole. I specialize in trauma, Latino Mental Health, and Global Mental Health, with a special interest in OB-GYN psychology, diverse populations, and social justice.
