Amanda Schield, LMHC, MHP, CMHS, is a licensed mental health counselor. Originally from Wisconsin, she graduated from Viterbo University in La Crosse, WI, with a degree in Psychology, then completed a graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Wisconsin-Stout in Menomonie, WI, with an emphasis in child and adolescent counseling. Amanda enjoys working with children and families utilizing trauma and attachment-based therapies, and continued interest in integrative/ holistic mental health, healthy development, and prevention through education. Outside of work, her free time includes hiking, running, going on camping trips, swimming, leisure photography, continuing to explore beautiful Washington State, visiting family and friends in Wisconsin, listening to music, writing, traveling, and reading. On a global scale, she enjoys international travel and experiencing different cultures, and recently completed a Spanish Immersion program in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala. She looks forward to continuing to work with children and families at Children’s Behavioral Health in Wenatchee.
