During undergrad, I worked as a wilderness ranger in Olympic National Park, and have continued since to appreciate the full slate of PNW outdoor activities. After receiving my degree, I spent 3 years with the Peace Corps working as a science teacher in small communities in West Africa, which sparked my interest in similarly working in a smaller setting as physician down the line.
